Have you ever seen a person cutting down a tree, well that tree could have been home hundreds of animals like ants, bees, birds and more! Well that is called Habitat Destruction.
Did you know more than 130 species of animals , plants and insects loose there homes because of habitat Destruction everyday, Isn’t that horrible? Today I will tell you 3 reasons why shouldn’t encourage habitat destruction.
1 Cutting down trees
Cutting down trees or deforestation is a major part of habitat destruction . by cutting down a tree it means there are less options for birds to make nests on and bees to make hives. All in all, cutting down trees means affecting arboreal animals. When you are cutting several trees like cutting down forests it is affecting not only arboreal animals but it is also affecting animals who live in that forest like lions, tigers, elephants and more.
2 dirtying animal homes
Did you know that street animals have to experience dirty homes because of littering. This leads to a lot of things like diseases? To explain in detail, they can get diseases in dirty areas where there are a lot of germs and bacteria.
3 habitat destruction for Our benefit
habitat destruction for our benefit is clearing forests for building urban things like towers, malls, restaurants and more, so you could say a big chunk of construction is habitat destruction.
To help stop animal destruction, we can use the 3 Rs: reuse reduce recycle. By this we can try and reuse, reduce and recycle as much as we can. We can also avoid cutting trees in our backyard where several insects and animals might live.
