Every animal deserves a home but not every animal gets the chance. Did you know that most dogs are intentionally bred just to look cuter and have specific traits. Several thousand dogs are forced to continuously have babies so that breeders have adorable puppies to sell. But this is wrong and must stop!

Instead, we should encourage adopting the dogs who are in desperate need of a home. Many dogs in shelters are scared and lost. By adopting them, you are giving them a second chance! If we all decide to adopt, breeders won’t have business which can lead to ending cruel breeding!

Additionally, many breeders who are in charge of puppy mills don’t treat animals well. All focus usually goes into making money. This is another reason why we should adopt from shelters and rescue centres where animal safety is the number one priority.

By adopting, you are also helping your community. Shelters often rely on volunteers and donations to keep going. So you can support them by taking in a rescue pet.
